Hello again! {waves} Hope this letter finds everyone in good health & good spirits! Let’s just get to the recaps… ☺
Work: Kenny continues to work at Chevron but he will be moving from Chevron Pipeline over to a different department with offices at the Downtown location. He is excited about starting in January in his new position as Network Security Engineer for Chevron ETC. I also switched departments at Luby’s Fuddruckers (Luby’s bought Fudds last year) and am now working in the marketing department as the Social Media Manager for both brands (yes, I get paid to be on Facebook & Twitter). It’s a perfect fit – I am learning so much & enjoy working on such a creative team.
Pets: Sad news – Ginger left us the day before Christmas. We were grateful to have her 17 years & are glad she is at peace (her last couple of years were rough). She is of course missed.
Since we are used to being a 2-dog household & wanted to give 🡨 Pascal another companion, we found Rosie 🡪, a Weimaraner mix, through a private rescue group. Rosie is now a lean 28lb high-energy pup who uses her long legs to give hugs.
Travel: We headed back to Caye Caulker, Belize for Kenny’s 40th birthday & this time we introduced 3 of our friends to the island. It’s as beautiful as ever & the snorkeling was even better than previous trips. 🡪
🡨 We also visited the San Diego area including La Jolla & Laguna Beach. We checked out Legoland and of course the San Diego Zoo!
